Upon setting foot in Poland, Jessica she realized that almost everyone was Catholic, and that she could relate to them through her own Catholic upbringing. During one particular Catholic service, she prayed for some kind of teaching from God, because she couldn’t understand the message in Polish.
After the service, her team leader, in broken English, told the story of Jesus calming the sea to the team. How refreshing it felt to have her prayer answered and her understanding expanded! Learning how to rely on Christ was an overwhelming theme for Jessica as she recalls her days in Poland. God has refined her heart and used the Polish atmosphere and people to do so.
