The Navigators Announces Two New Members to Leadership Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 25, 2025) โ€” Effective September 1, 2025, The U.S. Leadership Team of The Navigators has welcomed two new members, Paul Galliart and Dave Sheppard, and implemented a strategic restructure of several existing departments. These changes were initiated in part by the retirement of Mark Kimmel, former senior vice president of Ministry Services, as well as Margaret Fitzwaterโ€™s step back from executive leadership to prioritize personal ministry. The new structure and leaders are poised to guide the ministry into further effectiveness in its mission โ€œto know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the sameยฎ,โ€ providing care and direction to Navigator staff serving in the Field, as well as the nonprofitโ€™s U.S. headquarters in Colorado Springs.

โ€œTruly, Iโ€™m overwhelmed with gratitude, watching how God has raised up faithful servant leaders dedicated to our Navigator Calling and committed to Godโ€™s glory,โ€ said Marvin Campbell, president of The U.S. Navigators. โ€œAs we move forward with these new leadership structures in place, Iโ€™m excited to see how God will work through The Navigators to advance the gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations.โ€

In joining the U.S. Leadership Team, Galliart remains vice president of Finance and Accounting. Sheppard, who previously held the title of vice president of Technology Services, has stepped into the new role of vice president of Ministry Operations, managing Technology Services, Strategy and Integration, the Project Management Office, and the Field Operations team.

Jonswold will also act as a direct advisor to and representative of Campbell, who has led The U.S. Navigators as president since November 2021.

Wanda Anderson (general counsel and former vice president of Cultural and Community Affairs) and Chris Muller (former vice president of Communications) now serve as senior vice presidents. All legal, governance, and human resources functions are now aligned under Anderson, who will continue as general counsel and leader of the organizationโ€™s National Ethnic Networks.
