Brad Jonswold

Executive Vice President of Ministry Expansion

Beginning in 2024, Brad serves as Sr. VP of Ministry Expansion. From a young age, God gripped Brad with a passion for Jesus. Throughout his life, Revelation 7:9 has been a guiding life verse, helping him stay focused on the mission of disciplemaking among all peoples.

Since graduating from Wheaton College in 1997 (BA) and 1999 (MA), Brad has been committed to developing leaders, coaching missional entrepreneurs, and pioneering new Business As Mission (BAM) ventures in the United States and overseas, specifically among unreached people groups. From 1998 to 2002, Brad worked at Wheaton College, directing all local, national, and international student service and ministry opportunities.

Brad and his wife, Katy, have been on staff with The Navigators since 2001. In 2002, Brad and his family, along with four of their best friends, moved to Southeast Asia as pioneering missionaries to work among followers of a major world religion. There he was CEO of a start-up team that launched two companies: a rustic resort/eco-tourism destination and a leader and organizational development consulting company.In 2009, the Jonswold family returned to the United States, where Brad served as director of international mobilization and director of operations for the Global Enterprise Network (GEN) of The Navigators until 2017. GEN is a network of more than 350 BAM enterprises around the world committed to a triple bottom line: spiritual transformation, social impact, and financial sustainability. From 2017 to 2023, Brad served as the Sr. VP and Field director for The U.S. Navigators Field Missions.

Katy has served in staff care and development, planning teams for national events, and currently as executive assistant to the board of directors.

Brad and Katy were married in 1998. They live in Colorado Springs and have three adult children. Brayden graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins and got married to Becca in 2023. Kailyn recently graduated from Colorado Christian University in Denver, and Brennan is studying at Colorado Mesa University.
