As Students Return, The Navigators Bring Life-to-Life Discipleship to More Than 170 U.S. Campuses

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., (August 25, 2026)The Navigators, a worldwide disciplemaking ministry since 1933, is returning to more than 170 U.S. college campuses this month as students arrive for the fall semester, deploying staff and student leaders to welcome the incoming Class of 2030. As welcome week begins, Collegiate Navigators will be stationed at campus welcome tables, in residence-hall lounges, and at coffee shops near campus, ready to walk Life-to-Life® with another generation of students. Each year, the ministry connects with some 10,000 students through relationships, recreation, and Life-to-Life® discipleship.

Collegiate Navigators has served U.S. college students since the early 1950s, when staff first began meeting with students on campuses including the University of Nebraska, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Washington. Seventy-plus years later, the model is unchanged: small-group Bible study, one-on-one discipleship, and an emphasis on equipping students to disciple others wherever they go after graduation.

“College is a unique four-year window where a person is wrestling with their beliefs about who God is. Our staff are focused on helping students know Christ and, in turn, help their family and friends do the same.”

— Ben Nugent, National Director, Collegiate Navigators

Beyond the start of the school year, Collegiate Navigators offers students opportunities to grow as disciples and serve well beyond campus, including:
