Learn about our Life-to-Life® discipleship approach

The Navigators extends a heartfelt welcome to readers of Outcomes Magazine and to all members of the Christian Leadership Alliance. Ours is a ministry that shares the gospel of Jesus and helps people grow in their relationship with Him through Life-to-Life™ discipleship, creating spiritual generations of believers. Since its founding in 1933, The Navigators has upheld the mission “To know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same™.” Watch the video below and read on to learn more about our ministry efforts around the globe.

Our Unique Discipleship Approach

The Navigators develops disciples by sharing the gospel, studying the Bible, and praying together— face-to-face and person-by-person, in an approach we call “Life-to-Life discipleship.” Through Life-to-Life discipleship, Navigators invite individuals to know Christ, walk alongside them as they grow on their faith journey, and equip them to go and do the same for others, creating spiritual generations of believers.

Disciplemaking Resources

The Navigators website is home to a collection of valuable Life-to-Life disciplemaking resources that have withstood the test of time. Here are some of the very best.

The Wheel Illustration

Each part of The Wheel® illustration represents a crucial component of a vibrant Christian life. It’s a simple, effective way to visually explain a God-glorifying life to someone you’re discipling. Sharing can be as simple as drawing it out on a napkin or notepad.

The Bridge to Life

The Bridge to Life can help you give a simple explanation of the Gospel message to anyone. In just a few short pages, the booklet explains humanity’s separation from God and how Jesus became our way back to Him.

The Word Hand

The Word Hand illustration is a simple way to break down five methods of taking in God’s Word: hearing, reading, studying, memorizing, and meditating. Diagram and supporting verses are included in this easy communication tool.

The Prayer Hand

The Prayer Hand illustration is an easy way to remember five essential aspects of prayer: confession, petition, intercession, thanksgiving and praise. Use this helpful diagram in your personal prayer life or when teaching about prayer to others.
