Joe Maschhoff became the sixth International President of The Navigators in May 2025. He was born and raised in the U.S. Midwest and attended the University of Minnesota. He was led to Christ and discipled by his father, also a Navigator staff, but it was during his university days that God captured his heart with the Vision and Calling of the Navigators.
Joe was a member of the first EDGE Corps class and went on to live and minister in southern California for 16 years, serving in a number of different roles. He left Navigator staff for a few years out of a desire to experience the Navigator vision in the workplace. In 2009, Joe began serving as the U.S. Nav20s Director, doing so until 2014. At that point, he and his family left the U.S., opening and leading the Navigator work in the Caribbean for seven years, until 2021. Joe is married to Joy, and they are blessed with two daughters and a son.
