Dave and Beverly Nickerson
As Navigator Missionaries, our goal is to prepare men and women, whether military or civilians who make themselves available to us, to leave equipped with a solid foundation in Jesus and His Word, and able to help others do the same. To accomplish this, we use a combination of group Bible studies, personal discipleship, and recreational activities for relationship building.
Our weekly schedule:
Monday Night Rounds, 6p Lighthouse Airmen Center (Dorm 18D): Visit airmen in the dorms.
Tuesday Night Teachings, 6p in the Lighthouse Airmen Center (Dorm 18D): Currently study: Understanding Challenging Statements of Jesus.
Thursday Game Night, 7p in the Lighthouse Airmen Center (Dorm 18D).
At the Sunday Night Leadership study at our home, we have a meal and discussions covering material we’re studying Tuesday Night.
One-on-One Discipleship at home, on Eglin, and in the community.
Present the Chapel portion of the First Term Airman Class briefing, providing lunch for those airmen at the Lighthouse Airmen Center (Dorm 18D)
Helping with personal questions, relationship issues, setting budgets, etc.
Holiday meals in our home for any singles that remain in the area.
Group outings for birthdays, going-away parties, and fun, hang-out activities such as bowling, paint-pall, movies, etc
