About Rachel Gibson
Every Navigator’s passion is to help others “to know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same™.” Currently, I have the joy of fulfilling this passion at Iowa State University, specifically in the Greek Community. As a sorority woman, during my time at college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln God broke my heart for my sisters and the other men and women of my community. Founded upon the pillars of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Friendship, the Greek Community exists to cultivate compassionate and capable leaders. Because of this, those in fraternities and sororities aspire to be people of influence.
God has given me the desire and ability to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ into the Greek Community, with the hope and prayer that He would transform these men and women to be people of influence for the Kingdom of Heaven.
Through small-group Bible studies and Life-to-Life™ discipleship, I come alongside students and teach them to be Christ’s followers as they study and apply the Word of God to change their lives. By helping students in the Greek Community develop strong spiritual foundations as well as encouraging them to pass on what they learn to their friends and families, I pray that God would raise them up to be life-long laborers in the Kingdom.
