About Sean and Eden Phelan
At the beginning of eternity with God, there is a picture that is portrayed; “There before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb,” (Revelation 7:9a). The Lord reveals an image of unity of all people groups worshiping before His throne. This picture is something we find beautiful AND something worth hoping for. We hope to help paint a picture of this image here on earth by reaching out to Latino students at the University of Arizona. Our hope is that Latino students will feel that they too are included in the family of God. And that following the Lord all the days of our lives is not just something that Majority culture America does, but it is an invitation extended to all people, tongues, tribes and Nations.
Our prayer is that through specific outreach to one people group we will be able to see generations of laborers rise up and minister for Christ’s glory. Those ministers have the opportunity to preach the gospel in places that we will never go to, and minister to people that we will never meet. Will you join us in praying for that picture?
1 Corinthians 9:22 says, “To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.” We fully acknowledge that we have no power to save the world or lives, but we hold onto the call and hope that the Lord will use us to save at least one life for His glory.
