Kellie and I met The Navigators while college students at Penn State. The Navigators were normal, everyday people who loved us for who we were and who desired to know Jesus and to make Him known. This is now what we want to do for others. Our new ministry will be the with The Navigators, and I will serve as the Urban Youth Director in Atlanta.
We are excited to give our lives to mentoring and ministering to urban youth, especially the fatherless, brokenhearted, poor, and marginalized. Motivated by Isaiah 61:1-4, our heart is to join God in raising up “oaks of righteousness ” and help them grow into mature followers of Christ who in return restore broken relationships, families, and communities that have been devastated for generations. Our vision is to see urban youth hear and receive the gospel, be discipled and equipped for every good work through God’s Word, and reach their families, neighborhoods, cities, and all nations for Jesus Christ.
