When Jesus told His men that “the laborers are few” He was speaking to the need and privilege for more men and women to be taking the Gospel to every neighborhood. But He was also communicating the extraordinary value of the few laborers. If they are so few, who will make sure each is doing okay? Who will come alongside the laborer to provide, protect and to guide? I will.
I am passionate to encourage Christ followers as they step into the battle that represents ministry, whether it be in the home, workplace, campus, or military base. Fear, discouragement and shame continue to take a terrible toll among believers. I don’t have all the answers, but I know One Who does. There are a lot of things I can’t do, and a lot more that I do poorly. But, by His grace, I have been left on this planet to help others to find strength in God, fostering courage and hope, good decision-making and worship. And I am so very grateful.
