Becoming Good News

A FREE 5-Part Video Series on How God Forms Us

What if discipleship isn’t primarily about learning more or doing more, but about becoming the people God is forming us to be?

We live in a world full of stories about who we are, what we’re worth, what we should become, and what it means to live a good life.

And those stories shape us, because stories are one of God’s best tools in our spiritual formation.

How so? Our Father doesn’t simply hand us information and send us on our way. He meets us, loves us, calls us, places us in community to form us, and then patiently makes us into people who can carry His life into the world.

That’s the heart behind “Becoming Good News,” a free 5-part video series exploring the neuroscience, theology, and everyday practice of how we’re formed by God’s story rather than false narratives.

In this series, you’ll explore:

  • Five questions that help us understand the life of a disciple: Who is my God? Who am I? Who do I belong to? Who am I becoming? Who do I represent?
  • How false narratives can lead us toward fear, shame, hiding, and isolation, and how God gently rewrites our story.
  • What our emotions can teach us about what is happening within us, without categorizing every feeling as either sin or truth.
  • Why spiritual maturity is about an integrated life, not success, age, or a particular ministry position.
  • Why discipleship is a group project, and how connection, forgiveness, and community help form us into the people God is making us.

Jesus didn’t simply say, “Follow me.” He said, “Follow me—and I will make you.”

That is the invitation of discipleship: not merely to know more about Jesus, but to be formed by Him.
