Mutua committed his life to Christ at the age of 10 and was later discipled by The Navigators. Mutua spent two years in France earning his masters degree as a professor of French. He taught French in his home country of Kenya for two years before joining Navigator staff in 1981. Mutua and Stephanie were married in 1982. Mutua was appointed National Director of Kenya in 1986, Africa Regional Director in 1998, and International President in 2015.
Dr. Doug Nuenke came to know Christ at Texas Christian University through the influence of a group of friends. In his early years with The Navigators he helped to create and direct the EDGE Corps® program. Doug was selected as U.S. President of The Navigators in 2008, and continues to lead with the fervor that only comes from a continually growing and passionate relationship with God. Doug and his wife, Pam, have three adult children and two grandchildren.
DG Elmore became chairman of The Navigators board of directors in August 2011, after serving on the board for 14 years. DG was introduced to The Navigators while at Indiana University, when he and his wife, Gini, became involved in a Navigators Bible study. Today, he continues to live out the values of The Navigators in his many business ventures and among his family and friends. DG and Gini live in Bloomington, Indiana, and are the parents of six teenage and adult children.
