We look back on 75 faithful years of vibrant Navigator ministry and are grateful to God for His
amazing grace. Look ahead with us to the next 25 years and
amazing hope! In the next 25 years, here’s what we’re looking to the Lord for . . .Collegiate Mission Navigators minister on 170 campuses and touch approximately 50,000 students each year. We want to expand our reach to 250,000 students on 500 campuses. We believe that God wants to use millions of Navigator graduates to help reach our nation and all the nations of the world as they live and disciple among the lost and needy.
Military Mission Navigators minister on 137 military bases in 12 countries, touching the lives of approximately 45,000 active duty personnel and those in their relational spheres of influence. We pray that God will allow us to establish and expand this discipling ministry to 240 bases around the world, annually impacting the lives of more than 100,000 military servicemen, servicewomen, and their families.
20s MissionMany college grads struggle to walk with Christ and reach out with the Gospel as they enter their careers. The goal of the 20s Mission is to come alongside our grads and other twenty-somethings to help them transition into the world of work, encourage them to develop community, and coach them to reach out to their world with the Good News. We build connections to encourage the flow of lifetime laborers into the nooks and crannies of America.
Metro Mission Since four out of five Americans live in metro areas, Navigators must be there! But discipling in our cities is not easy. We must address the brokenness of the inner city along with the mobility of the suburbs. We intend to expand from 14 to 58 metro areas in the United States and reach more neighborhoods, business professionals, churches, ethnic diversities, 20-somethings, and the urban poor. We want to reach beyond our current scope of Chicago, Detroit, Washington, D.C., Grand Rapids, Raleigh-Durham, and Albuquerque, into other important communities.
Church Discipleship Ministry While 4,000 new churches start in America each year, 7,000 close their doors! With CDM, more than 100 Navigators partner with 1,500 churches and their leaders in intentional disciplemaking. With increased staff and ministry partners, we envision coming alongside 10,000 churches and their leaders. We believe that God wants every church to be intentional in disciplemaking.
Spectrum Mission Navigators advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the diverse nations of the United States. Spectrum leads the way in developing highly relevant and engaging ministries among African American, Asian American, Hispanic, and Native American communities. Spectrum also empowers Navigators to more effectively impact the diverse people within each mission’s ministry.
Overseas Outreach Right now, 16 percent of our Navigator staff serve overseas in different cultures. We are aiming for 20 percent, but it won’t be easy. We must send those especially gifted to work cross-culturally, and we must keep our workforce here in America strong so we can send still more in the next 25 years. We’ll also focus more on combining discipling with village development in some of the most underdeveloped parts of the world.
So what will the next 25 years bring? Together we are trusting God to raise up Christ-centered laborers next door to everywhere!
Be Amazed! The Navigators’ history is a mosaic of thousands of amazing stories of God at work. The DVD

It vividly tells some of those stories, giving glimpses of what God is doing all around The Navigators’ worldwide partnership.
