Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! ... Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live.  Isaiah 55:1a,3a

Kevin and I have been involved with The Navigators International Student Ministry at the University of Tennessee for 10 years now, and I (Lydia) have been on staff with The Navigators International Student Ministry for the last nine of those years, while Kevin has continued to work as an engineer. We both have loved sharing our lives with many, many students over those years, and seeing God do wonderful things to bring people into relationship with Him, and to draw them closer to Himself. It is our joy and privilege to be a part of what God is doing in the lives of international students here at UTK.

We have been married now for five years and have two kids, and I am only able to be on staff part-time during this season of life. I currently lead an ESL / Bible class and a seeker Bible study each week. I enjoy getting to know students through these two activities, and serving them in a variety of ways. Both Kevin and I serve on the staff team in Knoxville to welcome and get to know students through our larger group activities, and I also write our UT alumni newsletter to keep in touch with our student friends who have graduated and moved on. Even Clara and Caleb enjoy being a part of the ministry team. Clara gets to play with the children of students we know, Caleb gets to coo with the babies, and they both are generally oohed and aahed over.

We are so thankful to be a part of this vital and strategic ministry to reach international students during this formative time in their life. We love to see God at work advancing His Kingdom among international students we meet, and then calling them to do the same in the lives of their friends and families. Thank you for your partnership in prayer and support. We couldn't do this without you.
