Kent State University"And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others."
2 Timothy 2:2
We met and got involved with The Navigators as students at Miami University of Ohio. It was there that I, Buck, first started to take my relationship with God seriously and where we both were challenged and equipped to pursue God's calling on our lives--to know Christ deeply and help those around us know Him as well. After graduation, we were married and followed God's guiding to Kent State University to work with The Navigators and impact students for Jesus.
Since our time at Miami University, our hearts have resonated with the Navigator calling "to advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost." We are convinced that the college campus is a strategic place to share the Gospel, invest in people's lives through discipleship, and equip them to become lifelong laborers in their workplaces, neighborhoods, churches, and families. Our lives were significantly changed in college, and we long to walk with students at Kent State and point them to a God who can change their lives as well.
We just finished our first two years of ministry at Kent State and, Lord willing, will continue for at least another two years. It has been a joy to serve here, and we are so thankful for the prayers and support we have from so many. We are excited to continue to meet new students and build relationships and to come alongside these upcoming leaders as they learn to follow Jesus and share Him with those around them.
