University of Arizona The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.

Coming into college, I had no interest in being involved with a campus ministry. Then a former EDGEr approached me about reading the Bible together once a week. This became a two-year discipleship relationship which God used to turn my world upside down. The Word became alive to me, and my relationship with the Lord finally became mine! When the idea of serving on EDGE myself came up, my first thought was, "If I could influence just one girl life like she did for me, I'm all in!"
I am so excited to see what God has in store for this next year or two, and I am so blessed to return my alma mater. I look forward not only to sharing the Gospel with the college students in Tucson, but also my life!
