Topsham, Maine
The least one shall become a clan, and the smallest one a mighty nation. I am the Lord, its time I will hasten it. Isaiah 60:22
Mike and Narelle live in Topsham, Maine with their ten children. They minister in The Navigators' collegiate work with NavFusion—the volunteer-led campus ministry of The Navigators' collegiate work.
They work with campus volunteer leaders at several college campuses in Maine. The volunteers come from every walk of life–business professionals, doctors, university staff and faculty, teachers, homemakers, alumni, and students themselves. Some are actively engaged in their professions, and find time to meet with, disciple and lead students. Still others have retired and are giving of themselves to invest in the next generation.
The Whitney's heart's desire is to see the Lord produce servant workers for Jesus next door to everywhere in Maine, the U.S., and the world (Matthew 9:36-38).
In addition to their work with the Maine Navigators, Mike serves on The Navigators Collegiate Northeast Regional Leadership Team, overseeing campus ministries (staff-led and volunteer-led) throughout New York and New England, currently serving as the Regional Leader. Mike also serves on the NavFusion U.S. Directors team overseeing the coordination and coaching of over 80 volunteer-led campus ministries throughout the nation.
Mike is involved in prison ministry, men's ministry, and youth ministry. He has served on the Town of Topsham Finance Committee for the last five years and is currently the Vice Chairman.
Mike and Narelle serve as InterVarsity volunteers at Bowdoin College, working with the Bowdoin Christian Fellowship. They and their family worship at the First Baptist Church of Freeport, where Mike is a licensed minister.
