University of Minnesota“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
Matthew 9:37b-38
I joined The Navigators in 2005 as a junior in college at the University of Minnesota. I was looking for Christian fellowship, and a friend invited me to a Navigator meeting—never to look back. Sarah got involved in 2002 as a freshman at University of Northern Iowa, through the Snow Mountain Ranch summer training program. We joined staff in 2006, and were married in 2007.
We minister at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. Being at a world-class, large, urban campus, we have many unique opportunities to help students reach out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ: friends in dorms, classmates, Greek houses, professors, co-workers, international students, and more.
On the college campus today, the harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Since our early days with The Navigators, our hearts have been knit to the calling to develop and multiply laborers for the Gospel. We don't only want to see people come to know Christ, but we also want to see people established in their faith and equipped to make disciples themselves. Let the spiritual multiplication continue, for the glory of God!
