Shawna and I became involved with The Navigators while students at the University of Arkansas. I served as a Navigator International Trainee two years in Zimbabwe in the mid ‘80s. After working in management and marketing in Kansas City and Branson, Missouri, we joined The Navigators as collegiate staff in 1998.
We are thrilled to reproduce for others the experiences we had as students of someone coming alongside us, loving us, investing in us, and showing us how to search the Scriptures and trust the Lord for ourselves.
That key person or persons crossing our paths forever changed the way we thought about God, the Bible, God’s expectations of us, the church, and how we could effectively minister by simply pulling up alongside someone else! Since joining The Navigators, we have had the pleasure of investing in students at the University of North Texas and the University of Arkansas
We now serve as Collegiate South Central Regional Directors and oversee campus ministries in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. We are excited about being regional directors in that it widens our sphere of influence to include not only students, but also the staff of several campuses within our region who trust the Lord for a generation of men and women to advance the Gospel into the nations.
We consider it an extreme privilege to encourage and build into staff and students within our region!
