Bob and Liza have served with The Navigators since 1978, ministering to military personnel, college students, business and professional friends, and training new missionaries who serve in the U.S. and abroad.
Liza came to Christ and met The Navigators as a student at Cornell University. Bob met Christ, and The Navigators, while in the U.S. Army, and received additional training as a student at Penn State University. They’ve been married since 1979 and have three adult children.
Since 1992 Bob has focused most of his ministry on training and coaching new missionaries. He helps missionaries succeed in what is often the most intimidating part of their jobs—raising financial support. Bob's current ministry focus is helping our ethnic staff overcome their funding challenges.
Liza received training through The Navigators to help people identify their spiritual gifts and passions, and helps them discover their best place for ministry in the body of Christ. She’s a gifted speaker and has traveled with Bob to help coach young staff in their funding efforts. The Seiberts desire to see laborers for God’s Kingdom raised up and sent around the world!

 Black America: College
The college campus is a strategic place to impact the next generation. The Navigators are dedicated to reaching African Americans on campuses across America, developing them in their spiritual walk so that they can fulfill all that God has planned for them. Dr. John Perkins and Marvin Campbell explain some of the challenges and opportunities facing students today.
The Navigator staff featured in the following two ministry videos all attended the fundraising training seminar I led for many years. I've also provided personal coaching to several of these staff. Once our new staff have acquired their funding, this is how God is using them to change lives.
Observe how a new Navigator campus ministry is launched and grows in just over three years. This year (fall of 2009) 200+ students are in Navigator Bible studies on campus:
