The Asian American Network Ohana Journey

Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west.
I will say to the north, 'Give them up!'
and to the south, 'Do not hold them back.'
Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth—
everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made." Isaiah 43:5-7

One-third of the US population is ethnic minority. By 2042 the ethnic minority will be the majority. The changing face of America brings both challenge and opportunity to the transformational movement of the gospel. The challenge is to see the gospel cross cultural barriers with love and sensitivity into every ethnic group and sub-group in America. The opportunity is for the gospel to flow not only to the nations in the USA, but to continue flowing into the nations of the world.

In light of the rapidly growing ethnic population, Isaiah's urgent exhortation in 62:10 is a wake-up call:

Walk out of the gates. Get going!
Get the road ready for the people.
Build the highway. Get at it!

Clear the debris, hoist high a flag,
a signal to all peoples!
The Message

The Navigators Asian American Ministries is responding to this wake-up call. It is a privilege to join in the gospel movement to disciple the nations. I believe He will help us build the highway to ALL people in our nation.
