Crossroads Church of Jackson County
After
month of seeking God, seeking counsel and study, God has directed us to
plant a culturally relevant, disciple-making church in Jackson County,
Georgia. Here's a little bit about Jackson County:Jackson County lies on the I-85 corridor approximately 50 miles northeast of Atlanta and is beginning to experience an exploding population. The IEA Research Group named Jackson Co. as one of the 100 fastest growing counties in the U.S. in 2004 with no signs of slowing.
The County currently has just over 50 thousand residents and is expecting another 25 thousand to arrive in the next 10 years. Statistics show that over 60% of these residents have no church affiliation.
These numbers translate into over 42 thousand individuals who are disconnected to Christ and His church. Our passion is to see these people find a meaningful relationship with Christ and His church and to see them fulfill His purpose for their lives.
