Mark 6:8 The Message
I grew up in Maryland and at the age of fifteen was introduced to Jesus Christ through my best friend. I attended the University of Maryland, majored in Zoology (’74), and became involved with The Navigators.
For six years after graduation, my vocation was sales and management, and my avocation was making disciples of Jesus Christ with The Navigators. In 1980 I began what has now become a thirty-year career as a full-time Navigator missionary, leading student ministries (Oswego, NY, and Pittsburgh, PA) and developing leaders (in Pittsburgh and Durham).
Susan was raised in Dayton, OH, and came to Christ through The Navigators at Bowling Green State University. After graduation she helped lead student ministries at Ohio State and Cornell University. We met as leaders at a summer work/study program in Syracuse in 1978 and were married the next spring.
