My journey with Jesus began as a little girl growing up on a farm in Illinois. I can remember the hint of something more to be found in my relationship with God just as I can still remember the faint scent of the lilacs that lined the driveway of our farm. 

Just as I was drawn into the sweetness of those bushes, Jesus drew me in to the sweetness of His love for me as a freshman at Illinois State University in 1975. My search to fill the emptiness of my heart in all the wrong places found a resting place in His sacrificial love for me. God placed faithful Navigators on that campus who helped me grow as a follower of Christ. He placed a vision and calling in my heart that He could use me too.

I love to use my home for ministry, and see God use my life to bear witness to God’s transforming power, love, and grace. My desire is for God to change the heavy hearts and despairing lives of women in Chicago into joyful hearts and fruitful lives.
