Bowie State University Navigators

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matt. 6:33

Campus Vision: To increase the number of African American disciples among college students by building and equipping leaders who will make a positive, lasting impact in their communities and change the world for Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20, 2 Timothy 2:2)

Hadiza and I accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior at young ages, and in college we rededicated our lives to sharing the Gospel of Jesus. God has since led us to become missionaries to African American college students with The Navigators.

We are currently ministering at Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland. Bowie State University is a Historical Black University (HBCU) and is the home to 5,000+ college students.

I graduated from Palmer Theological Seminary receiving my Masters of Divinity, and am a licensed minister. As Campus Director for the Navigators at Bowie State University, we have the opportunity to sow the Gospel into the hearts of young people as we share Biblical principles and our lives through one-to-one interactions, small group meetings, retreats, conferences and mission trips.

Another way I sought to reach the youth in our community is by being a Gospel Rap Recording artist. Known as Oppose, I seek to glorify the Lord by sharing Biblical truth through music. Songs from the latest project have been played on Philadelphia’s Radio One 103.9fm, Hampton Road’s radio stations, and countless Internet radio shows heard in other countries and continents around the world. By God’s grace, Oppose Music continues to challenge the hearts and minds of young people, calling them to live life for God.

As the grateful parents of Lydia Amanda and Osaze Josiah, we as a family are compelled by God’s love for us to know Christ and to make Him known.
