Seymour Johnson AFB - Goldsboro, NC
You did not choose Me but I chose you and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. John 15:16
We were invited to Seymour Johnson AFB in the spring of 2002 to start a Navigator ministry, and we have worked closely with the base chaplains since that time. Literally hundreds have come through the ministry—some moving on to other bases, some going on to college, some serving our country by long deployments, and some simply choosing another career. Most spend a couple years here and then move on. Jesus touches them with His love and His Word, as they are impacted for His Kingdom.
The Navigators use life experiences to advance the kingdom. We take dive, fishing, and camping trips. Golf, whitetail hunting, reloading, mechanics, carpentry, sports softball and football, flying are also common interests. We have numerous Bible studies, but the things that excite us the most are changed lives and destinies, and well as an extensive list of life-long friendships that have developed over the years.
Social networks of friendships are invaluable in reaching today's world, and we get it. The Navigators extend love and grace to help these relationships grow and flourish. If building life-long friendships and developing strong foundations for life, through God's Word, are important to you, the Lord can meet those needs through the Navigator Military Ministry.
