Lawrence, KSIf I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
John 13:14
My junior year at the University of Kansas, I attended a dorm Bible study. Through this study, I became good friends with the leader, and he and I began meeting together weekly to read through the Bible together and share what was going on in our lives. Through this, God began to change my heart and draw me into an authentic relationship with Him. My senior year, I helped co-lead the same Bible study I had attended the year before. Through this study, my friendship with the leader, and the new fellowship I had through the KU Navigators, God cultivated new desires within me to minister to others like I had been ministered to. I’ve now joined Navigator staff! It is exciting to be a part of a ministry whose desire for discipleship and creating spiritual generations through obediently devoted believers of Jesus Christ is changing lives.
I will be working on EDGE Corps for the next two years. EDGE Corps is an initiative of the Collegiate Navigators committed to training and developing young leaders on campuses throughout the country. At this time, I do not know what campus I will be assigned to, but the harvest is ripe everywhere. Investing in the lives of college students, praying for and with them, leading them, pointing them to Jesus Christ, and watching God work in the lives of these men and women is what excites me about serving on EDGE Corps. Thank God that He uses the weak and the broken!
