After moving to New York City to live a life over God, I quickly found the city to be a lonely place and recognized that much of my identity was prideful, frail, and inauthentic. Through what initially seemed to be a chance friendship, I went back to church and became acquainted with The Navigators’ college ministry. It was with these brothers and sisters that I gained a clearer understanding of our God (Luke 15:20) and distinctly heard God call me into a new life.
Entering into my first year with the EDGE Corps I wish to:
- Progress the Gospel in the hearts of students at New York University and Marymount Manhattan College
- Be a Christ-like model of discipleship who will initiate men into discovering their gifts and purpose and who will lead them to accept Christ’s unwavering love as their central identity
- Communicate an expectation that these men will, in time, disciple and entrust the Gospel to other reliable men as they become leaders in our churches, businesses, government, culture, and academics, for the Kingdom of God
I am currently seeking ministry partners to support this endeavor prayerfully and financially. Together we will see the Kingdom of God break into the hearts of college students.
