Northern Arizona UniversityWe loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.
1 Thessalonians 2:8
I went to my first Navigator meeting as a freshman at UNL in the Greek system. Some older guys in my house and a group of peers encouraged me to go. I continued involvement with The Navigators until I graduated, then I joined the EDGE Corps (The Navigators’ collegiate program) at UNL. I've always felt The Navigators and those involved pushed me to be in the Word and to live out what I read. I love their emphasis on discipleship and feel there's no more effective way to minister.
The Greek system and college students in general have been a passion of mine, and my wife is passionate about internationals. After marrying in December, Karen decided to pursue graduate school. We'll be going to Northern Arizona University, where she'll study applied linguistics, and we'll help launch a brand new Navigator ministry in Flagstaff. The unkowns of a new place and challenges excite us, because we know we will be desperately dependent on Christ for everything that happens.
