Offutt Air Force Base

I (Jim) first became involved with The Navigators when I rededicated my life to Christ as a freshman cadet at the Air Force Academy. The USAFA Navigator ministry taught me how to grow as a Christian and prepared me to serve the Lord as an Air Force officer.

We are excited to serve as Navigator staff because we love ministering to military people and their families. Having served on active duty for 24 years, and now preparing to retire, Christie and I are dedicated to serving the military and making disciples for Jesus in the second half of our lives. We have been called to bear fruit that will last (John 15:16). We consider this a privilege, and are humbled and excited to begin this new faith adventure.

Our ministry will be to serve, share Christ, and disciple among the 10,000+ enlisted personnel, officers, and families at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. Offutt Air Force Base is a strategic location for the U.S. Military, as it consists of a flying wing, joint U.S. Strategic Command, and the Air Force Weather Agency.

We look forward to helping people know Christ, grow in their spiritual journey, and deal with the difficulties and challenges of military life.
