University of FloridaThe harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
Matthew 9:37-38
I started attending Navigator events my freshman year at Florida State University. I grew spiritually by leaps and bounds through attending Bibles studies, large-group meetings, summer training programs, and overseas summer mission trips. Nicki also joined The Navigators her first year at Florida State and also grew spiritually as I had. Nicki also attended Eagle Lake, The Navigators’ summer camp for youth.
Both of us were so impacted during our undergrad that we decided to work jobs in Tallahassee after graduation and help invest in students just as other people had invested in us. After a couple of years of working and volunteering, we sensed God leading us to both take a leap of faith to come on staff.
We spent three years laboring among students at FSU. During these years, we fell in love and got married. Then we were asked to move to the University of Florida to continue our training and ministry with The Navigators. We are truly grateful to be able to invest in this generation of students, and we pray that they will impact the nations for God’s Kingdom.
