In the early 1970s I was a student at the University of Northern Colorado. During those years, God first gripped my heart with the vision of spiritual generations. There is “no greater joy than to hear that my [spiritual] children are walking in the truth" (3 John 4).

Then, as they invest in yet another spiritual generation, it’s compelling to dream and pray about the unlimited power of multiplication—trusting God’s working as I invest in others is my life goal.

In answer to much prayer, the Lord raised up spiritual generations of Kenyan laborers and leaders in Kenya, Africa during my sixteen years on Navigator staff there. Now I’m very motivated to keep shepherding and encouraging younger Collegiate Navigator staff here in the United States.

The median age of the 650 U.S. Collegiate staff is just 28. What a privilege to pray for younger staff women and walk alongside them as they live out the Gospel to the millennial generation!

In my role as specialist in women and missions, I also aim to sensitize younger generations to global needs and help them discover the contribution God has for them in his worldwide harvest.
