“I need a t-shirt that says, ‘I’m a work
in progress’, said our passionate,
quirky, absolutely delightful guest speaker
at January’s luncheon. Sherry Pickle has
been a friend of mine for a long time, and
one thing I can definitely say about her is
she “puts it all out on the table” when it
comes to sharing who she is with people.

| Monthly Challenge |
 |
|
Identify ONE thing you would be willing to
let God change in you this year. Now, make a
commitment to be accountable to God
AND ONE PERSON IN YOUR WORKPLACE for letting
God do whatever it takes to start the
transformation in you.
Let us know what God is doing in your life.
Send us a testimony of how
God has used this challenge
in your
life and we'll share it with the Faith@Work
community
in an upcoming newsletter.

After hearing Sherry's speech, it occurred
to me how negative I can be at times. It
seems that I am always waiting for the other
shoe to drop. And after the great discussion
at my table, it occurred to me that I am
negative because I have not trusted in Him to
take care of my worries and my needs...

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
By Robin Martinez
Does anyone, besides me, have unfinished
projects stashed in closets, chests and
cupboards? I have a stack of books beside the
bed that I’ve started but haven’t finished, a
cross-stitch project begun in a previous life
(when I actually had time for such pursuits)
and windows with no coverings, though I’ve
faithfully carried the measurements around
with me for months.

Goals are a joint effort process: getting in
touch with our heart and setting a course;
then depending on and being willing for God
to direct us one step at a time.
