Thanking God for Faith@Work
Faith@Work is a Navigators sponsored monthly luncheon for business women in Albuquerque, NM. Its mission is helping business and professional women live out their faith more intentionally in their workplaces. We do this through several different means:
• Presenting challenging messages each month from local practitioners who are learning how to live on purpose for God.
• Promoting, developing and implementing Bible Studies in the workplace for women across the city.
• Recruiting, training and utilizing volunteers in a variety of ways to reach out and connect with other business women each month at the luncheons.
Faith@Work Message, November 15, 2010; "Thanking God for Faith@Work" Albuquerque, New Mexico
Speakers: Women of Faith@Work
Our annual tradition at Faith@Work for the month of November is to reflect on some of the many reasons we have to give thanks to God for all that He has done through this ministry. This month was no exception. Three women who have especially been blessed by their participation in our ministry this past year, shared their stories!

Our annual tradition at Faith@Work for the month of November is to reflect on some of the many reasons we have to give thanks to God for all that He has done through this ministry. This month was no exception. Three women who have especially been blessed by their participation in our ministry this past year, shared their stories!
Melissa Arvey is a recent college graduate who has found friends and mentors at Faith@Work. She shared how she has been helped with some of the issues from her past and has found role models she can connect with and look up to.
Hazel has been bringing women to the luncheons for years, and shared why she feels so motivated to invite people to come with her. When the opportunity arises to share the hope that the gospel gives, Hazel has sometimes felt unsure about knowing where to find the right Scripture reference or what biblical truth to share. Having a place to bring women where they will hear the stories of their peers and see for themselves what the Bible has to offer has been a great solution.
Ricci was first brought to Faith@Work by her friend, Hazel. A brand new believer, she had been seeking fellowship with other believers where she could ask questions and share the journey of faith with like-hearted women. Our luncheons were a God-send for her! Now she is being discipled and has even started leading a Bible study for family members in her home.
Faith@Work has made a difference in the lives of the women who come. In light of this, the challenge given to them this month was to find a way to give back, and make Faith@Work their own:
1. Pray for this ministry and how God will use it in the coming year
2. Participate at a deeper level: workplace Bible Studies, prayer groups, volunteering at the luncheons.
3. Partner with us financially to enable us to continue to offer this ministry to a growing number of women all over the city of Albuquerque. For more information about how to do this, click here.
