Through involvement with The Navigators at Eastern Kentucky University during my college years, I experienced firsthand how God can change a life through one person investing their life in another. God gave me a heart to help others experience this as well. After serving with Training Evangelistic Leadership in Asia for seven years, I returned to the States in 2006 and rejoined The Navigators.
I’m excited to be a Navigator because I believe that the Navigator calling "to advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost" is exactly what is needed to reach the international students in the US and the nations they will return to.
God is bringing the best scholars from around the world to our universities to study and do research. The nations are literally at our doorstep. They return to become leaders of influence among their countrymen. I am working with international scholars and researchers at the University of Kentucky. I help meet their linguistic needs through directing an English as Second Language program on campus (www.ukesl.org). I help introduce them to Jesus and disciple them so they can in turn disciple their own people. Please pray that God will use me at UK to help equip laborers who will return to their home countries with the heart, vision, and skill to make an eternal difference for Christ.
