Dear Partner In Ministry,

Kathy and I entered into a busy fall ministry season. We attended and served in various ways at our National CDM Staff/Pastors’ conference September 13-19.  Several on my prayer team were prevented from joining us for one reason or another (mostly health), but God allowed us to put together a great prayer team and we were able to hold up every aspect of the conference in prayer. Thanks also for praying for my workshop on prayer. The discussion went well and I felt prepared, as the Lord gave me an opportunity to present a draft at a church in Michigan last August.

The Navigator’s Shepherd network met in Colorado October 1-4 and I was able to attend. One of the major presentations was related to coaching from the perspective of a Shepherd’s heart. It was helpful as it gave me insights in blending the coaching training that I have been receiving with shepherding values and skills!

My coaching training is from Ministry Coaching International and I joined their organization part-time and am now able to offer formal coaching to pastors and church leaders. I’m on their web-site, www.ministrycoaching.org. Click the “Team” tab and then click “coaches.”

Please pray that:

·         God would connect me to pastors who would benefit from my coaching them in life and ministry.

·         I would complete a “Comprehensive Staff Review” with all of the CDM staff that I serve in the Pacific Southwest. (I started working on this process in September and the goal is to complete the reviews by Dec 1)
