June 2010 - "National Day of Prayer Breakfast Update" and Summer Ministry
Thanks for praying for our North County Prayer Group as we hosted the National Day of Prayer in Escondido! 400 Businessman, Civic Leaders, Clergy and others representing some 70 churches attended!
It was a powerful morning focusing on Nahum 1:7 and praying for our Nation and Community.

Dear Partners In Ministry,
We trust that you are enjoying your summer. Kathy and I wanted to share about ours and ask you to keep us in your prayers.
June: I have been concentrating on adding partners to our support team and am seeing some progress! Also, I have been studying 4 different manuals on psychometric instruments that I’m seeking to be certified on in August. Kathy is done with her school year and women’s Bible study, enjoying a well deserved break and hanging out with the grandchildren.
July: (1-4) Kathy and I will join some twenty Pacific Southwest CDM Staff & Partners in Palm Springs. We will be focusing on deepening our relationships with one another and learning about some new discipleship material called, “The Ways of The Alongsider.”
(15 – 18) I’ll be in Colorado Springs attending CDM Regional Leaders meeting and will be sharing about shepherding. (20 – 30) Kathy and I head to Michigan to visit family, church leaders, and will be seeking to share our ministry with folks, hoping they might partner with us on our support team.
August: (4-17) Kathy and I head to Fairbanks, Alaska for two weeks vacationing and visiting our son and his family. I will be sharing with a group about our ministry asking them to pray about joining our support team. (22 – 28) I head back to Colorado Springs to attend the Professional Assessment Certification Course (PACC) certifying on:
Majors Personality Type Inventory –simplified and more accurate assessment of the Myers-Briggs 4 letter type code.
Majors PT-Elements - online tool using common Myers-Briggs 4 letter type code that gives advanced feedback and implications for team building, conflict resolution and performance.
Majors Occupational Environment Measure – measures interest, activities and preferred environmental settings to help with job fit.
Breckenridge Type Indicator – examines how people handle stress, feedback, and identifies any destructive patterns of behavior.
It’s a full summer and we would sure appreciate you keeping us in your thoughts and prayers as we travel, enjoying family, rest, ministry, & instruction. If we are in your area and you have some time, give us a call so we can visit a bit. Thank you for your prayers and financial support!Majors PT-Elements - online tool using common Myers-Briggs 4 letter type code that gives advanced feedback and implications for team building, conflict resolution and performance.
