Albuquerque, New Mexico
We seek to glorify God by showing His compassion and sharing His Gospel
with the distressed youth of Albuquerque. We trust God to raise up
spiritual generations that will bring the hope and joy of Jesus Christ to
their neighborhoods.
We partner with local ministries
to run a weekly program called Juntos (“together”) in one of the
vulnerable neighborhoods of southeast Albuquerque. About 60 kids
(4-14 years old) attend the program where they worship together, learn
the Word of God and how it affects their lives, and build relationships
with an older mentor. Several of these mentors are kids who have
come up through Juntos and other Navigator programs themselves!
The kids are Hispanic, Mexican, African American, African (refugees
from West Africa), Native American, and Anglo.
Juntos Kids’
Club takes place every June. It is a day camp attended by
approximately 100 Juntos participants and their friends. We
follow Kids’ Club with picnics, movie nights, and other activities to
engage the whole family.
In addition to the Juntos program, we
have many relationships with teen moms and young men and women with
whom we meet individually to mentor and share the Word of God.
