I joined The Navigators my freshman year of college through a Bible study and found that the Word is central to who they are as an organization. Conversations with Navigators always turned back to God, and Bible verses were spoken as part of everyday language. As I began to attend more of the events held by The Navigators, I realized there was something unique about the people I was meeting: they were interested in getting to know me better and in helping me know my Lord better. The Navigators emphasized depth and intentionality in my relationships with others and in my relationship with God, but they didn't just tell me to grow closer to my Savior, they showed me how.
I am excited to be a Navigator at the University of Alabama and to show students how to read His Word, worship Him through prayer and praise, have deep relationships with fellow believers, and love others with the love of Christ. I grew immensely in my four years as a student in The Navigators, and I look forward to being used by God to spur on the same growth in other believers.
