ChicagoBut we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:7
I am excited anytime I meet someone who is passionate about winning souls for Christ. The Navigators offers many ministry focuses, and its staff thrives on, telling others about Christ. My calling is to the youth of Chicago.
My ministry partner, Dana Stevens, and I are constructing a youth center called Studio 2911 in the North Lawndale area of Chicago. In addition to sharing the Gospel, Studio 2911 holistically offers job training, youth mentoring, employment opportunities, recreational activities, and educational curriculums.
I also operate a mobile music academy to school systems and churches to educate youth about the music industry and its effects on their generation. It is my intent that making them aware of these truths will help our youth to avoid the negative imagery and destructive content that popular culture promotes. Music is a universal language and acts as an effective tool to engage youth in critical thinking. I lead various discussions, teaching them music production, music theory, and the history of different music genres.
It is my desire to build bridges across culture, race, gender, religion and other areas that divide people. I want the youth of Chicago to know that Christ is the foundation for unity.
