Isaiah 43:4
Stephen and Tess Holechek both felt the call for ministry in their life from a young age, having both grown up with missionary parents. Having parents on Navigator staff, Stephen grew up surrounded by the Navs. His first personal involvement with The Navigators came his freshmen year of college at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Though growing up a Christian, it was in college when he made a decision to follow Jesus whole heartedly. During college, he spent four years on the student leadership team learning better how to minister to and disciple college students, attending two Navigator Summer Training Programs, and growing in his heart for people and the nations. Tess was born and raised in France, as her parents ministered to the people of France. Knowing she had a heart for ministry, she attended a Christian College in Arkansas, Harding University. She met The Navigators through Stephen after living, working, and building relationships in Colorado Springs for four years.
Stephen and Tess love working with college students at such unique times in their lives as they make decisions about their future and form convictions about the world and life. God has developed in them a passion for those who don’t yet know Jesus and to share with them the redemption Christ brings in love, grace, and truth. They are excited to continue staff training with The Navigators, learning how to better pioneer and lead new ministries, helping to mold men and women into the image of Christ.
