Dustie's Update

Over the last year or so, Dustie has been focused on seeking God's direction for her life. She first thought that her future was in nursing, but had to drop out of nursing school because she blew her ACL on a ski trip with the church youth group over Spring Break. This left her with lots of questions about what to do next. After working a couple of different jobs through the summer, she decided that she would just get her knee fixed and pick up where she left off in nursing school next April.

But then, in September, at one of Garret's football games, the father of one of the players asked her if she might be interested in a job working for him at the Armani store in the Galleria shopping mall. The position comes with a full benefits package and the opportunity to earn a relatively significant income. Her boss told her that it could be anything from a really good job for as long as she wants it, to as much of a career as she might want. It is so much more than Dustie really expected from God and came in a way that we would have never have thought to pursue. Who knows what God will do next? But it is so much fun to enjoy His blessings.

Brittany at Eagle Lake

Brittany spent the summer at Eagel Lake, The Navigators' camp near Woodland Park, Colorado. She described the summer as both the most challenging and difficult, and the most rewarding experience of her life.
