One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.
Psalm 145:4
Don:
God has always used people to show Himself to me — high-school friends who knew God well-enough themselves to talk about Him freely and clearly … a college roommate who was himself an example of Jesus … a post-college friend who was real enough to honestly and openly struggle with his Father and his faith at a time when I was at my worst — and God has continually helped me to know Him better, speaking into my life through godly relationships that seek to follow Jesus and His Word. This is what Navigators do, wherever they are. That is what I want to do. The most fulfilling times in my life revolve around passing on God's greatness — as others have with me — seeing young people catch a true vision of their place in the Kingdom of God, here and now, living and walking unshakably in the firm footsteps of Jesus and passing it on to others wherever they go. And on. And on. To the uttermost parts of the earth!

DeAnn:
I was introduced to The Navigators in college, shortly after giving my life to Christ. Relationships built in The Navigators strengthened my relationship with the Lord as I learned to read and memorize God's Word, pray, and share with others, believers and non-believers, what my Savior is doing in my life. My life further changed as I saw God use me, even with my imperfections, to add to His Kingdom. As God has given me a vision for His Kingdom, I long more and more to see young people catch the vision of God using them — right where they are! — to further His amazing Kingdom. To team up with NavYouth to pursue this passion is the fulfillment of half a lifetime.

We currently live in central Illinois, where we met and married in 1997. We have two sons, Zach (21) and Nate (17). Among other things, we all enjoy relating with God through camping, history, and music.
