Our lives were forever changed in college!
Deb became a Christian her first week at the University of Florida, and that's where Jim began following Jesus, too! The Navigators played a key role in helping us know Jesus, keep growing in Him, and learning how to pass this on to others and help them learn how to keep passing it on. What we learned during our collegiate years applied well as we transitioned into the work world and began making disciples among those around us and in our family. Ten years ago, the Lord led us to come on staff with The Navigators to bless a new generation of college students the way we've been blessed.
Since then we've helped launch a Navigator ministry at the University of Florida, directed the campus ministry at the University of South Florida and, for the past three years, served as Regional Leader overseeing The Navigators collegiate ministries in Florida and Southern Georgia.
We now live in Tallahassee, FL and have six young staff living with us for training. These staff are serving the Navigator campus ministries at both Florida State University and Valdosta State University, and we are preparing, Lord willing, to launch a ministry at Florida A&M University within the next 18 months! What joy it is to see how God's kingdom and His gospel are advancing! And in the process are we ever growing, too! What an adventure!
