During my Junior year of college, I transferred to the University of Massachusetts. When I got there, a friend told me about The Navigators. About 6 months before that I had become a Christian and was intrigued by the idea of joining a Christian ministry. I felt truly loved by the students and staff. They genuinely wanted to get to know me. In addition, one of my best friends has come from The Navigators ministry.
I love people and am glad for the opportunity of meeting them where they are at in their journey to know Jesus. It has been a joy to meet with girls who are at different places in their relationship with Christ. Whether she is a new Christian, a mature Christian, or someone who does not know the Lord, the time spent with each girl is exciting.
I will be continuing at Penn State as entity staff. The girls I meet with are currently Juniors. I have the privilege to meet with them during their senior year and guide them in their career decisions. In addition, I will be leading a Freshman Bible study.
