Living Redemptively

To live redemptively addresses the depth of our understanding concerning the new life God has given us in Christ. The purpose of this life converges on the Lords’ redemption of others, as well as the continuing effect of redemption in our own lives as His disciples. We are to live thankfully and graciously out of that redemption, communicating the truth and beauty of its meaning to others every way we can.

To live redemptively is to live with an attitude of heart and spirit that communicates there is a God who is both Creator and Savior/Lord…the only one who can redeem people from shame, guilt, self-centeredness and delusion…into the life the heart truly longs for…a life of peace, meaning, and integrity.

To live redemptively is to sacrificially bring goodness and hope into the lives and circumstances of others as we intentionally and compassionately live among them. It is helping to provide opportunities for people to envision a redemptive God they have not experienced or seen.

To live redemptively is to live with the redemption of others in mind. It is to live abundantly and help others live abundantly, since redemptive living requires full dependence upon the giver of abundance…the Holy Spirit. It is to live thoughtfully and joyfully in God’s presence and for His Kingdom.
