Introducing Cyndee Larson
I'm currently ministering with the Military Ministry at The Navigators headquarters in Colorado Springs. I went to Nav conferences in high school, then got involved with the Nav ministry while in college at the University of Illinois (Urbana). I've been on Nav staff since 1975--first in the Midwest, then moving to Navigator headquarters in Colorado Springs in 1985 where I've had various administrative responsibilities.
Since October 2002 I've served as administrator and office manager for the Military Ministry. I lead the office team, delegate projects, and assist the 300+ Navigator Military field staff serving on over 100 military installations around the world with their questions and concerns.
I always look forward to Bible study group discussions. It's a delight to discuss the Word together and hear how the Lord is using it in others' lives as well as sharing what He's teaching me about walking with Him.
Most people would be surprised to know that I have 30 (at present count) nieces and nephews. Someday I'd like to return to Sweden with my sisters to explore our "roots."
Some ongoing prayer request are:
- Pray that I'll be effective in my office responsibility-grasping information quickly and seeing how the Military Ministry office can be operated efficiently and most effectively to assist the field staff.
- Pray that I'll be bold and gracious in representing Christ as I relate to non-Christian friends in my "Food for Thought" discussion group (a community group that meets monthly).
