University of VermontFor Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
2 Cor. 5:14-15
After graduating from college I (Jess) found The Navigators and heard about what they are doing all over the United States and the world. My heart was immediately drawn to their Collegiate mission, being with college students and investing in their lives through discipleship to see the Gospel advance in campuses across the nation.
I came on staff with The Navigators in 2007, first serving two years at Ashland University in Ohio, and then moving back to the Northeast where I am currently on staff at The University of Vermont.
For both Christian and me, it was during our college years that we were asking the deep questions of life, were trying to figure out what we believed about God, and were coming to many important crossroads on our spiritual journeys. During those years the Gospel began to deeply transform our hearts and lives. It is now a love of ours to be among the college students of today at UVM, walking through these critical years of life with them, pointing them to Christ, and equipping them for a lifetime of walking with God."
