University of MarylandBut seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:33
After growing up in the Episcopal Church, I became involved with The Navigators during my freshman year at Boston University. From the beginning, God has used my experience with The Navigators to develop in me a passion to serve Him and know Him better. My time at a Navigator summer training program in Burlington, Vermont, in 2009 was my first experience of an intentional Christian community geared toward advancing the Gospel, and I grew immensely through it. The following summer, God brought me to work as a counselor at Eagle Lake Camps, The Navigators' summer camp for middle and elementary school children in Colorado Springs. It was a blessing to spend the summer sharing the Gospel with young kids and help them come to know and love God. That summer, God continued to work in my heart, teaching me more about serving Him.
In the summer of 2011, I joined The Navigators' EDGE Corps staff to serve and minister to students at the University of Maryland in College Park.
I am continuously thankful for and humbled by God's choice to use me to advance the Gospel. I am nothing apart from Christ, but how fruitful is the branch when connected to the vine! I pray that God would continue to bear fruit through the Navigator ministry in Maryland, drawing people to Himself, and that all we do will brings glory to Him.
